In 1989 I had what I now know was a Near Death Experience (NDE) whilst suffering a stroke. This site is comprised of many of my writings since that time.
My name is Barbara Duckworth (nee Fraser) – at the time of my experience I was a process worker, married with three children. I am currently retired, living in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
The experience I had in 1989 is as vivid today as it was back then. I had no prior knowledge of what a NDE was and have since spent time trying to learn more about this phenomena. I went through a tunnel into the light. I was spoken to by a being of light who said she was the Mother of God, Mary The immense feeling of peace, joy and love was so intense I wanted it to last but was told it was “not my time” and I must return “to write a book and teach the children” I have started this website to commence on that undertaking.
